Phase 4 — Production cycles
The recurring engine. One URL becomes sixteen pins across four designs and four boards, running as a rolling chain.
Nothing can start yet
A cycle turns one URL into sixteen pins. This store has no URLs yet, so there is nothing to run.
- Import the URL pool (P4.1.1)
There are no URLs on this store yet
Add the pages worth pinning to — collections, guides, strong product pages.
No cycle is running.
A waterfall starts when a URL is selected, its boards and keywords are assigned, and sixteen pins are generated from four designs. Today's queue, failures and the publishing calendar appear here once one is live.
Phase 4 — Cycles (0 active)
The sitemap says what pages exist. The top pins say which of them Pinterest has already decided it likes — fewer, and worth more. Neither adds anything until you press Add. Each row is matched to one of this store's topics using its own board names; coverage is counted per topic, so a URL that matches none has to be given one by hand.
Steps in this phase
- What:
- Pick a URL from the candidates the system surfaces (cooldown and coverage already filtered), record why it matters from the fixed list, assign at most five keywords and at least five semantically relevant boards.
- Where:
- The Cycles tab in this dashboard.
- Output:
- A URL with a reason, keywords and boards attached, ready for design.
- What:
- Record the grid analysis for this cycle, generate the design brief, create four visually distinct designs plus three micro-crops each, run design QC, generate copy per design, and pass the hard validators.
- Where:
- Design work happens in Canva or your design tool. Brief, QC and copy validation happen here.
- Output:
- Sixteen approved assets and four validated copy sets, one per design.
- What:
- Generate the sixteen-pin waterfall with board rotation and interval, then review the calendar before anything is scheduled.
- Where:
- The Cycles tab. The system computes rotation and dates; you approve the calendar.
- Output:
- Sixteen pins scheduled with the correct rotation, spacing and board spread.
- What:
- Push the schedule to Pinterest and monitor publication for failures, rate limits and expired tokens.
- Where:
- Automatic through the Pinterest API. Failures surface on the Overview leak panel.
- Output:
- Pins live on Pinterest with no silent failures.
