What step 4.1 involves — 7 tasks

These run per cycle rather than once per store, so they appear as work the moment a cycle starts. Nothing here is actionable yet; it is what you will be doing.

  1. 1
    AUTOP4.1.1

    Show candidate URLs

Bestsellers, top pins, new launches. Cooldown and board coverage are already filtered out: what is listed is allowed.

    Hands back

Nothing to hand back — the list builds itself from cooldown, topic coverage and board assignment. If it is empty, the panel at the top of phase 4 says which of the three is holding each URL up.

  2. 2
    AUTOP4.1.2

    Seasonal candidates

URLs whose peak falls six to ten weeks out. Publishing late is the most common failure there is — earlier is recoverable, late is not.

    Hands back

Nothing to hand back. URLs whose peak falls six to ten weeks out surface automatically; set the peak window on the URL if one is missing here.

  3. 3
    IN DASHBOARDP4.1.3

    Request new URLs

Ask the client about launches and new blogs. The algorithm rewards brand-new URLs heavily.

    Hands back

What the client said about launches and new blog posts, with dates where they gave them.

  4. 4
    IN DASHBOARDP4.1.4

    Select URLs

The number follows from the frequency. Core judgement: start with bestsellers and most-visited pages, cross-reference with season.

    Hands back

Why these URLs and not the others — the reasoning is what makes next month's selection better than this one.

  5. 5
    IN DASHBOARDP4.1.6

    Assign keywords

Maximum five per URL, a mix of short and long-tail, from the keyword bank.

    Hands back

Up to five keywords with one marked primary. The keyword picker ranks gridded terms first, because the design brief can only set format and colour from a keyword that has a grid row.

  6. 6
    IN DASHBOARDP4.1.7

    Assign boards

At least five, semantically relevant. Swimwear does not belong on a strapless bra board, even though both are lingerie.

    Hands back

At least five semantically relevant boards. The picker ranks by what has already won on this account, then topic, then the approved Steal List. Fewer than five is allowed and will be flagged, not blocked.

  7. 7
    IN DASHBOARDP4.1.8

    Long-tail to the design brief

Three to five descriptive keywords per URL, as a hook for the text overlay.

    Hands back

Three to five descriptive long-tail terms per URL. They become the text-overlay hook, so they have to work as a phrase somebody reads on an image, not as a keyword list.
